North Shore Schools Ask For Community Feedback

Planning meetings scheduled Wednesday and Thursday about district's architectural study.

From Superintendent Michael Bregy

Our district faces a once-in-a-generation opportunity to determine its future direction, and we need your help.

Many of your neighbors have already attended community workshops to learn about the findings of the district’s architectural study.

Two more workshops will be held at Elm Place Middle School this week, on Wednesday and Thursday at 7 p.m., and your participation is needed.

You can RSVP through our website at www.nssd112.org, or by calling 224-765-3013.

At the meetings, you will learn about school configuration options, and have the opportunity to speak individually to the architects and district staff about important issues, including the condition of our existing facilities, the status of our district’s finances, and exciting innovations in student instruction.

Our district has big decisions ahead, and the path we choose now will determine our ability to continue our proud tradition of educational excellence.

Please help us by staying informed and lending your voice to the process. I hope to see you at a meeting this week. Thank you!
