Staunton Flanders passed away peacefully at home in the company of his wife, best friend and partner, Anne. He is survived by his beloved children and step daughter: Aaron, Rachel, Joshua (Sheri), and Clair (Ari) Benmosche. He leaves behind six treasured grandchildren: Adriel and Raphaela Hsu-Flanders, Zoey and Jacob Zachary Flanders, Aubrey and Julian Benmosche. His loss is felt deeply by many, many dear relatives and friends. Staunton was a truly unique man. He embraced life in celebration, in tragedy, and even in his daily routine. He generously shared his wisdom, warmth, humor, and integrity with everyone but rarely asked for anything in return. He will be missed. Services will take place on Tuesday, June 5 at 1:00 PM. Congregation Solel, 4301 Clavey Rd., Highland Park , IL 60035. The burial will follow the service at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W Rand Road, Arlington Heights, IL.
