Park Lane Dispute Results in Charges For Highland Park Man: Cops
Another man turns himself in on a warrant for criminal sexual abuse.

The following information is from the Highland Park Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Matthew Smith, 22, of the 2100 block of Park Lane was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting a peace officer after police responded to a dispute at the residence on Park Lane at 10:56 p.m. on July 6.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED
Edward Williams, III, 25, Chicago was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and speeding after being stopped by police in the 1900 block of Skokie Valley Road at 1:32 a.m. on July 9.

CRIMINAL SEXUAL ABUSE (WARRANT)
Eduardo Martinez, 19, Highland Park turned himself in on an outstanding Highland Park warrant for criminal sexual abuse at 1 p.m. on July 10.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
Anthony Quintana, 36, Chicago was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and intimidation after police responded to a dispute in the 300 block of N. Deere Park Drive East at 7:37 p.m. on July 2.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
Sometime between July 3 and July 4 between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 a.m., the metal framing on a store window in the 1800 block of Second Street received a dent by unknown means.
THEFT
Between 3:45 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. on July 7, cash was removed from a wallet that was left on a reception counter at a business in the 500 block of Roger Williams Avenue.
BURGLARY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE ATTEMPT
An unknown subject attempted to break a driver-side window with a piece of concrete however was interrupted when a witness observed the subject at 5 p.m. on July 8. The subject then ran and was unable to be located. The vehicle was parked in an alley in the 1800 block of Deerfield Road. Nothing reported missing from the vehicle.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY
Unknown subject(s) cut locks on three gates and entered a commercial property in the 1400 block of Skokie Valley Road sometime between 7 p.m. on July 8 and 1 a.m. on July 9. Construction equipment was utilized to steal and load cable coils and copper connectors into a vehicle.
STOLEN AUTO
A white Ford E150 cargo van was stolen sometime overnight from July 8 to 9 while parked in the 1400 block of Park Avenue West.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
The windshield on a 2010 Hyundai Elantra was found shattered by an unknown object while parked in a driveway in the 1600 block of Hickory Street at 5:59 p.m. on July 9.
BURGLARY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE ATTEMPT
An unknown subject attempted to break into a Toyota 4-runner while parked in a driveway in the 1100 block of Sandwick Court at 6:21 p.m. on July 9. Nothing was reported taken.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
Police responded to a residential burglar alarm in the 200 block of Oak Knoll Terrace at 11:45 a.m. on July 10 and located forced entry to a front door. Some drawers appeared disturbed, however nothing appeared to be reported as missing at this time.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
Sometime between 8 a.m. and 3:44 p.m. on June 10, unknown person(s) forced open a rear kitchen door at a residence in the 2300 Green Bay Road and stole jewelry and high end watches.
THEFT
Sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. on July 11, an unknown person stole several credit cards from two locked lockers at a business in the 100 block of Skokie Valley Road. The credit cards were later used fraudulently.
