Opening in 2027, the concepts aim to be all-day community hubs, offering everything from gluten-free breakfasts and coffee to cocktails, tacos, and patio dining for local students, professionals, families, and visitors.

Township D113 superintendent warns of rise in hate crimes: 'Deeply concerning pattern' (chicagotribune.com) — Highland Park families are being urged to confront a rise in hate incidents after District 113 reported antisemitic vandalism and multiple cases of antisemitism, racism, and anti-gay slurs in local schools. The superintendent promises firm consequences alongside restorative practices, and asks Highland Park parents, staff, and students to work together to keep schools safe, respectful, and inclusive.
   

4. Highland Park's Dugan Hever is different on the field. Particularly this season, he plays like 'a monster.' Northbrook Library Collecting Pajamas, Books For Children In Foster Care (patch.com) — Northbrook Public Library is collecting new pajamas and bedtime books through Nov. 15 to comfort children in foster care, and Highland Park is among the additional area drop-off communities.
