HIGHLAND PARK, IL — The following information comes from the Highland Park Police Department as a record of incidents reported to the police and of those arrested by police. Readers are reminded than an arrest is not an indication of guilt, and criminal charges, which are often dropped or reduced, represent merely accusations by the state. INCIDENTS
CAR BURGLARY

On the morning of Aug. 21, police were told someone broke a window of a vehicle that had been parked in the 1100 block of Park Avenue West and stole multiple items during the overnight hours of Aug. 20-21.
THEFT

On Aug. 21, it was reported that an unidentified person had stolen various items of pool equipment from a residence located in the 800 block of Stone Gate Drive between Aug. 19-21.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
Shortly before noon on Aug. 21, police were told someone damaged a parked vehicle located in the 1600 block of Deerfield Road sometime on Aug. 19 between 10:45 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
THEFT
On the morning of Aug. 25, it was reported that an unidentified man and woman stole a piece of merchandise from a business located in the 100 block of Skokie Valley Road on Aug. 14 between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Police did not disclose the type of merchandise or reported loss.
BURGLARY TO MOTOR VEHICLE
On Aug. 25, it was reported that someone had broken a window to a vehicle that was parked in the 700 block of Central Avenue between 2 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 25. No items were taken from the vehicle.
ARRESTS
SUSPENDED LICENSE
A 35-year-old Cudahy, Wisconsin man was arrested shortly after noon on Aug. 21 and charged with driving with a suspended license after police responded to a complaint at a business in the 1300 block of Half Day Road. Police did not disclose the nature of the complaint.
