Randhurst Village Hosts Fourth Annual "Hoots & H'owls" Halloween Fall Festival
Family Fall festival featuring face painting, pumpkin decorating, a candy sculptor, live owls and more

Randhurst Village, at the corner of Rand and Elmhurst Roads presents the fourth annual Hoots and H’Owls fall festival and Halloween celebration on Saturday, October 17from 1 PM to 4 PM.
Families are invited to begin their day of festivities with a costume pet parade at 12:15 p.m. Dress your pet to impress in their best costume and join the other dapper animals along Randhurst Village drive for the chance to win some great prizes.
Owls form the Stillman Nature Center in South Barrington headline the free event. Guests will also enjoy face painting, balloon twisting, and troops of sky-high stilt walkers while taking in the dazzling larger-than-life sand sculptures created by the Sand Sculpture Company. The Sand Sculpture Company currently holds the record for the World’s Tallest hand Built Sculpture by the Guinness Book of World Records, and the pending record for the World’s Tallest Sand Sculpture.

Entertainment will include the Rad Hatter, Tony Melendez, who will teach families how to create one-of-a-kind keepsake hats, and the incredible Candy Sculptor, one of only five in the world who continue to practice this ancient art form. Don’t forget to stop by the pumpkin decorating stations where you can create and take home a great memorabilia of the day.
