Roger Williams Avenue Streetscape Work Throughout the Month
Work in the Ravinia Business District is expected to last through most of September.

Work on streetscape enhancements in the Ravinia Business District is expected to be completed before the end of the month.
Crews have been out on Roger Williams Avenue recently working on stamped crosswalk treatments at Burton, Dean, Pleasant and St. John’s “to promote safe pedestrian activity as well as improve the ambiance of the business district,” according to Ramesh Kanapareddy, director of Public Works for the city of Highland Park.
The crosswalk enhancements at those locations entails “milling and overlaying asphalt pavement over the crosswalk area,” Kanapareddy added.
