Salvation Army Donation Stolen From Deerfield Road: Cops
A Highland Park woman is accused of resisting arrest during a domestic dispute.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Daniel Echevarria-Davila, 23, Highwood was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended, uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane usage after police responded to a vehicle accident in the 3000 block of Skokie Valley Road at 3:37 p.m. on September 15.

Elijah Kettelle, 31, Highwood was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended, suspended registration for no insurance and no passenger side tail light illuminated after being stopped by police near Walker Avenue and Waukegan Avenue at 1:36 a.m. on September 19.
DOMESTIC BATTERY / RESISTING ARREST / BATTERY
Melissa Edelman, 48, of the 200 block of Central Avenue was arrested and charged with domestic battery, resisting a police officer and battery to a police officer after police responded to domestic dispute at her residence at 2:16 a.m. on September 19.
DRIVING WHILE LICENSE REVOKED
Norman Galeana, 23, of the 6400 block of N. Talman Avenue was arrested and charged with driving while license revoked and speeding after being stopped by police near Clavey Road and Clavey Lane at 8:19 a.m. on September 19.
SPEEDING 35+ OVER THE LIMIT
Joel Lugo, 18, North Chicago was arrested and charged with speeding 35+ mph over the limit, uninsured motor vehicle, following too closely and improper use of registration after being stopped by police in the 1900 block of Skokie Valley Road at 4:18 a.m. on September 20.
THEFT
Unknown person(s) took three lawn type bags placed on a front porch in the 900 block of Deerfield Road for donation to the Salvation Army sometime before 4:13 p.m. on September 16. The bags were filled with a music box, miscellaneous clothing and an area rug.
RETAIL THEFT
An unknown person entered a business in the 600 block of Elm Place, concealed a beverage from a cooler under clothing at 7:08 p.m. on September 17. When the person was asked to pay for the beverage, the person ran out of the business.
THEFT
Sometime between 2:-8 p.m. on September 16, unknown person(s) stole a 25-year-old girls yellow bicycle that was left unlocked and leaning up against a tree in the 700 block of Judson Avenue.
