Save the Date for a Weekend of Live Music, Food, Drinks & Fun at Ravinia District's 1st Annual Harvest & Harmony Fest
The Ravinia District of Highland Park is hosting its 1st annual Harvest & Harmony Fest, a FREE live outdoor music festival!

Revel in two days of live music featuring performances by Marshall Crenshaw, best known for his Top 40 hit “Someday, Someway”, veteran St. Louis indie roots music band The Bottle Rockets, and a variety of other exciting musicians making this great music fest and community event in the Ravinia District the perfect start to the autumn season.
Along with the “Harmony”, the Fest will also feature a variety of food, drinks and vendors. There will be flights of artisan beer, wine and mule cocktails, with plenty of seating under the big tent on Dean Avenue. Attendees will enjoy some of the best barbeque this city has to offer, and are encouraged to vote for their “Best of the Fest” barbeque dishes.
Festivities will be kicked off with the unveiling of the new Ravinia District streetscape signage at the opening ceremony on Friday at 4pm. The unveiling will be followed by a special drum circle and percussion performance by 4th & 5th graders from five schools in the North Shore School District 112. The public is encouraged to join in live drum circles around Jens Jensen Park, followed by two local bands.
“The Ravinia District improvements and events are the definition of community partnership,” stated Mayor Nancy Rotering. “Represented in this collaborative effort are the entities that make our city strong – elected officials, City staff, local businesses, property owners and residents. The investment of time, creativity and resources will enhance public safety, spur economic growth and elevate the vibrancy of this historic neighborhood for residents, businesses and visitors.”
