In addition, a Superintendent Leadership Profile developed by District 113’s search firm, Hazard, Young, Attea and Associates, was presented to the Board on Nov. 10. It contains a summary of comments from focus groups and individual interviews, along with the results of the superintendent survey that was completed by 461 respondents.
The profile is posted at www.dist113.org/leadership, along with a one-page list of desired characteristics for a new superintendent. That list was developed by the search firm, based on stakeholder input, and was reviewed and edited by the School Board.
It will be the basis for Board and confidential stakeholder interviews of the top candidates.
