See Election Shenanigans In Lake County? Tell Highland Park Patch
Electionland tip lines are collecting information about any problems preventing people from voting in Lake County.

HIGHLAND PARK-HIGHWOOD, IL — The last day of voting in the high-stakes 2020 presidential and general election is Tuesday. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, record numbers of early and mail-in votes have been cast.
Nationwide, about 100 million people have already voted heading into Election Day, and officials with the Lake County Clerk's Office anticipate 45 percent of all registered voters will have cast their ballot before Tuesday.
Because of the surge in absentee balloting in Lake County and elsewhere, the nonprofit investigative news organization ProPublica has launched its Electionland tip lines early this year. Patch has joined the coalition of newsrooms participating in the Electionland project to discover problems that prevent eligible voters from accessing or casting their ballots during or ahead of the Nov. 3 general election.
