'The Simple Greek' Restaurant Coming to Highland Park
Pennsylvania restaurant chain of reality fame will open its first location outside of Pittsburgh-area in Highland Park.

A Pennsylvania greek restaurant chain once featured on the hit CNBC reality series will open its first Midwest location in Highland Park this spring.
The Simple Greek, made famous when entrepreneur Marcus Lemonis partnered with founders Michael Ference and Kathleen Kamouyerou-Ference on the December 9 episode of The Profit, will bring the fast, casual, mediterranean styled eatery to 478 Central Avenue in the spring, Lemonis announced Wednesday. All current locations of the chain are located in the Pittsburgh area.
“Coming from a Greek family, I am particularly excited to bring this dining experience to the wonderful community of Highland Park and give our customers reasonable prices and convenient access to great food,” Lemonis said. “We are very excited to be growing The Simple Greek into new areas in the United States and look forward to sharing our delicious and healthy food with Illinois residents.”
