Sprout Kids Boutique Now Offering Complimentary Children's Yoga
Children's clothing boutique in Highland Park, IL is now offering free, complimentary children's yoga starting Monday, April 13, 2015.
HIGHLAND PARK, IL (APRIL 13, 2015) – Starting April 13th, Sprout Kids will begin offering complimentary yoga for children aged 3-8 every Monday from 3:30pm – 4:15pm, with certified yoga instructor Ellen Tucker Schoen directing the class. Schoen has been certified with Yoga Alliance and has taught in both private and public schools. Most recently, she taught at the Luster Learning Center, specializing in teaching children with special emotional and physical needs.
“We are so excited to embark on this new venture of children’s yoga. Yoga has become one of the fastest growing ways to work out your mind and body, and I think kids deserve to have this opportunity as well,” says Pam Hillman, owner of Sprout Kids. “It’s a great skill to learn early in life, and we believe this could be a huge success amongst our clientele!”
Sprout will be providing mats from The Little Yoga Mat, and they will also be available for purchase at the store. The Little Yoga Mat provides yoga mats that are eco-friendly and biodegradable, composed from environmentally friendly materials. They are easy to store, and small enough for your child to carry their own mat to class. They have won numerous awards, such as Dr. Toy’s Best Green award of 2014, Creative Child Awards 2014 Product of the Year, and been approved by the Parents’ Choice Foundation.
