UP or DOWN Vote: Guns in America, Yes or No?

KEEP and BEAR "ARMS", not GUNS are the words of our Constitution. Let the American people vote, up or down, should guns be legal in America?  Yes or No.  I believe the NO's would win.  There are almost 300 shootings per day in America, it's not safe on our streets, cars or schools.  We need to do something about safety in America.  Gun ownership is not a right, "arms" in 1776 were muzzle loaded single shot muskets.  Guns make it too easy to maim and kill by intention or mistake.  Let the people vote, isn't that the American way?
