HIGHLAND PARK, IL — The following information comes from the Highland Park Police Department as a record of incidents reported to the police and of those arrested by police. A Fed Ex package was reportedly stolen from the doorstep of a residence in the 500 block of Ravine Drive sometime on Sept. 18.

CAR BURGLARY

On Sept. 21, police were told that a Lenovo laptop, a Raymond Weil watch, miscellaneous pieces of clothing and cash was missing from a rental Ford Explorer after it was towed due to a clerical error. According to police, the rental car company contacted a tow company because a rental extension was not updated in the company's records. The contents of the car were reported missing when the the person renting the Explorer went to the location where it had been towed. Police said the incident remains under investigation.


ARRESTS/CITATIONS

DUI

Michael Rockoff, 69, of the 0-100 block of Avon Road in Northbrook, was arrested Sept. 20 at 9:35 p.m. in the 3000 block of Skokie Valley Road and charged with driving under the influence and driving while license suspended. SUSPENDED LICENSE

A 45-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested on Sept. 21 at 4:11 a.m. in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley road and charged with driving while license suspended after police pulled him over. He was also issued a citation for driving without headlights.

SUSPENDED LICENSE

A 18-year-old Highland Park man was arrested on Sept. 24 at 7:29 p.m. near the intersection of Auburn and Summit avenues and charged with driving while license suspended and a Lake County warrant for failure to appear in court. He was also issued citations for disobeying a traffic control device and possession of cannabis.
