Waukegan Man Charged With Selling Minor Alcohol: Cops

The following information is from the Highland Park Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

SALE OF ALCOHOL TO MINOR

Pablo Rivera-Ortiz, 47, Waukegan was cited administratively for sale of alcohol to minor after police conducted a compliance check on the business located in the 1500 block of Clavey Road at 2:26 p.m. on May 13.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Ninfa Rojas-Santos, 41, Highwood was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and improper passing after being stopped by police in the 2100 block of St. Johns Avenue at 4:01 p.m. on May 14.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Qurren Harshaw, 49, Chicago was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended, uninsured motor vehicle and expired registration after being stopped by police in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road at 6:55 p.m. on May 15.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Sergio Perez, 26, of the 1600 block of Rosemary Road, Highland Park was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and disobeying a stop sign after being stopped by police near the intersection of Clavey Road and Green Bay Road at 11:32 p.m. on May 15.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Gerardo Hernandez, 28, Beach Park was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and speeding after being stopped by police in the 2600 block of Skokie Valley Road at 1:58 a.m. on May 16.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Konisha Gary, 37, Zion was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended, speeding and expired registration after being stopped by police near Central Avenue and Fredrickson Place at 4:12 a.m. on May 17.

AGGRAVATED DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE

Kentoriae Wilson, 22, Gurnee was arrested and charged with aggravated driving under the influence, driving while license suspended and improper lane usage after being stopped by police near Parkside Drive and Skokie Valley Road at 4:51 a.m. on May 17.

RETAIL THEFT

A subject concealed an unknown amount of items, possibly alcohol in a jean jacket at 11:52 p.m. on May 11. When approached by an employee, the subject ran from the business located in the 1600 block of Deerfield Road and left in a red vehicle.

FRAUD

Unknown person(s) entered a business in the 600 block of Roger Williams Avenue and purchased 10 Visa gift cards with stolen credit cards and fled in a black sedan in an unknown direction at 12:34 p.m. on May 13.

THEFT

Sometime on May 11, 3-4 flagstones were taken from a property located in the 2700 block of Oak Street.

THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE

A purse was taken from an unlocked vehicle while parked in a lot in the 700 block of Vine Avenue sometime before 11:56 a.m. on May 16.

THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE

Sometime between noon and 1 p.m. on May 15, a wallet was taken from the center console of an unlocked Chevrolet while parked in a lot in the 700 block of Vine Avenue. Cash and credit cards were in the wallet.
