Work on McClory Bike Path on Hold
Buried ComEd cable has project to relocate portion of path on hold.

Construction on work on the Robert McClory Bike Path in Highland Park has been put on hold due to a buried ComEd cable found along the block wall foundations, according to a city news release.
Work on relocating a portion of the path in the parking lot at the northwest corner of Roger Williams Ave. and St. John’s Ave began in June. The project will continue as soon as the issue is resolved.
When finished, the new path will route bicyclists and pedestrians to the east side of the parking lot and will include the installation of a retaining wall at the north end of the path to account for the grade difference within the parkway.
