15 Highest-Paid Hinsdale D-86 Employees

Eighty teachers made the highest amount under the union contract.

HINSDALE, IL – Like any school district, the superintendent of Hinsdale High School District 86 was the highest-paid employee last school year, making $260,609. Tammy Prentiss is in her fourth year at the helm.

At Lyons Township High School, seven teachers made the top 15 highest-paid employees for the 2021-22 school year. At District 86, no teachers did.

The district approved the annual salary report last month. According to the report, 80 teachers made the highest amount under the union contract – $139,217.

Central High School Principal Bill Walsh was the fifth highest-paid employee, making $179,302. Then-South High School Principal Arwen Pokorny Lyp was sixth, at $175,499. In July, she took the principal's job at Downers Grove South.
