Aggravated Battery In Downtown Hinsdale: Cops

A Willowbrook woman has been arrested repeatedly in recent months, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their latest blotter Tuesday. Here is information from the reports:

Aggravated battery

  • Amy E. Colomb, 56, of Willowbrook, was arrested about 1 p.m. Friday in the 10 block of East Hinsdale Avenue on a felony charge of aggravated battery. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail. Colomb has been arrested repeatedly in recent months in Hinsdale.

Fraud

  • On Aug. 1, someone accessed the bank account of a resident in the 800 block of South Bodin Street and made $7,000 in fraudulent transactions. The crime was reported Saturday.

Tire damage

  • A man told police that two of his tires were punctured between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. Aug. 22 at Kramer Foods, 34 S. Vine St. The damage was reported three days later.

Hit-and-run

  • Someone struck a parked car between 12:30 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. Aug. 21 at Hinsdale Central High School, 5500 S. Grant St.

Suspended license

  • A 22-year-old man from Chicago was cited about 9:30 a.m. Friday at 55th and Oak streets on charges of driving with a suspended license and driving an uninsured car. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
