Alice in Wonderland Week coming to Clarendon Hills Library

Celebrating the 150th birthday of this classic book!

Go down the rabbit hole with the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter, the haughty Queen of Hearts and, of course, Alice, as the Clarendon Hills Library celebrates the 150th anniversary of Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, with activities for all ages all through the week of November 16th.

Children’s activities include a daily hunt to find the White Rabbit, two special story times on Tuesday, November 17th with Alice stories, rhymes and activities for children ages 2-6, a drop-in craft day on Wednesday, the 18th to create your own Mad Hatter’s hat, and a Mad Hatter Tea Party on Thursday, November 19th at 4 pm.

Families are invited to enjoy the 2010 live action version of Alice in Wonderland starring Johnny Depp on Monday, November 16th at 6:30 pm—popcorn included.
