AMI Welcomes New Faculty Members

Rachel Mostek, Drew Powell, Ryan Wallace, and Tomas Gueglio join the AMI faculty, teaching violin/viola, flute, guitar, and piano.

AMI WELCOMES NEW FACULTY MEMBERS

American Music Institute (AMI) welcomes three new faculty members to their Downers Grove and Clarendon Hills locations.

Rachel Mostek – Violin, Viola, & Piano

Rachel Mostek received her bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University. There, she studied under the rigorous instruction of well-known musicians, including Igor Fedotov (viola), Renata Artman-Knific (violin, The Merling Trio), and Dmitri Pogorelov (violin, Kontras Quartet).

Drew Powell – Flute & Piano

Drew Powell graduated with a BM in Flute Performance from Brigham Young University under the tutelage of Dr. April Clayton. He is currently continuing his studies with John Thorne at Northwestern University, to receive a MM in Flute Performance.

Tomas Gueglio – Guitar / Piano

Tomás Gueglio Saccone, from Buenos Aires, Argentina holds a BA from the Facultad de Artes y Ciencias Musicales de la Universidad Católica Argentina, a Masters from the Setnor School of Music in Syracuse University, and a PhD in composition at the University of Chicago.

Ryan Wallace – Guitar & Piano

Ryan Wallace completed his bachelors degree in classical guitar at Webster University, and his masters degree at the San Francisco Conservatory, where he studied with Grammy award winning guitarist and composer Sergio Assad.
