Another Big Drop In Central's Virus Cases
Only a handful of South students have the coronavirus. School lets out for the summer next Thursday.

HINSDALE, IL – With school ending next Thursday, Hinsdale Central High's coronavirus caseload among students has dropped yet again, according to District 86 numbers.
As of Friday, the school reported 16 cases, or about one case for every 160 students. Two weeks earlier, the school had 55 cases.
Hinsdale South, which is half Central's size, recorded seven coronavirus cases as of Friday, or one case for every 190 students. Two weeks earlier, the school had six cases.

For much of the last three months, both Central and South had seen only a handful of cases at a time. The last surge was in January.
As of Friday, nine employees in District 86 had tested positive for the coronavirus. That was down from 18 two weeks earlier.

In Elmhurst, York High School's number of students with the coronavirus was 12 as of Friday, or one case for every 240 students.
