The Birches Runs, Walks and Rolls in the Rotary Run Charity Classic
The Birches Assisted Living joins the Hinsdale-Clarendon Hills Rotary Club for a community race that benefits local charities.

On September 21, The Birches Assisted Living in Clarendon Hills will participate in the 20th annual Rotary Run Charity Classic, a community event organized by the Hinsdale-Clarendon Hills Rotary Club.
The event includes races for people of all ages and skill levels, including a 10K run, a 5K run, a 3K run, a 5K walk, a Mutt Strut, and a Walk & Roll Slow Dash.
The Birches has been a long-time financial supporter of the Rotary Run Charity Classic, and for the last two years has sponsored the Walk & Roll Slow Dash, a shorter distance event geared toward older adults.

Registration costs vary by race and all proceeds go to local charities like The Community House, Hinsdale Hospital Foundation, District 181 Foundation, Hinsdale Rotary Charities, Hinsdale Humane Society, and Ray Graham Association.
Each race begins and ends at the Community House in Hinsdale, where there will also be many other activities occurring on the grounds. Race day activities include an awards ceremony, vendor and sponsor booths, refreshments, face painting, moon jumps, and music.
