Breast cancer education and self-exam training

Build confidence and skill with an introduction to the MammaCare® method of
breast examination!

MammaCare® is the internationally recognized standard for breast examination. During this class, you will practice on lifelike breast models, allowing you to feel the difference between the texture of normal tissue
and lumps. Program includes education on the American Cancer Society Risk Factors & NCI (Gail Model) Risk Assessment Screening Tool.

This free class will be offered to the community on the second Wednesday of every month, beginning on July 13. The class is held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at AMITA Health Cancer Institute & Outpatient Center 1 Salt Creek Lane, Hinsdale, IL 60521.

Participants remain fully clothed. Minimum of 4 participants required. To register, call 1.855.MyAMITA (692.6482).
