More than 3 million people in the United States suffer from Epilepsy at an estimated cost of 15.5 billion annually. In the U.S. more than 300,000 people with Epilepsy are under the Age of 14; more than 500,000 are over the age of 65. While most people with this Disorder live a full life, potential factors associated with Epilepsy and Seizures do increase the risk of early mortality. Sudden Unexplained Death in Epilepsy [SUDEP] accounts for 10% of all Epilepsy-related deaths; 85% of these fatalities occur between the ages of 20 -50.
The Epilepsy Warriors Foundation requests the Honor of your Presence at the “BRIDGE OF HOPE” Fundraising Dinner to benefit those who suffer from Epilepsy and Seizures.
If you’re a Chicago sports fan and enthusiast you won’t want to miss our “Bridge of Hope” Dinner on November 2nd that benefits The Epilepsy Warriors Foundation local Chicago families and children. We will have 20 amazing items from the sports teams of our great city to auction off thanks to the generosity of Pro Promotions, Inc.

November is EPILEPSY AWARENESS MONTH Epilepsy is very seldom talked about you very rarely see anything on television in the form of PSA’s about it and I truly want to change that. But I can not change that all by myself it takes a lot more voices to be heard then just mine it’s for the community, for you, for the children and those who fight this battle every day so please help by supporting us.
Parents and people always say not enough is talked about or not enough publicity, time or money is given towards Epilepsy well now is your chance to step up and support. One of many reasons I founded the Warriors was I wanted to do something that would give back to the community where I grew up, where I was given so many amazing opportunities myself while growing up.

This year we are giving out our first “WARRIOR SPIRIT AWARD” to a young girl who does so much to help others and makes a difference for those in need her name is Tessa Garcia and we are so PROUD of the example she sets for kids and adults alike. This award is given to someone we feel exemplifies community spirit, outreach, and genuine thankfulness.despite her own needs.
Tessa was diagnosed last summer with Type 1 Diabetes and many of you may not know that Diabetic seizures in children can occur if their blood sugar levels are either too high or too low.
It has not been an easy year for sweet Tessa. Tessa has raised money and participated in so many different charity events she truly has the heart and spirit of a Warrior and we are honored to give her our first award.
Please come out and support us and support Tessa even if you can not make the event please share and promote it for us it’s up to all of us no matter who or where to spread awareness, it’s up to all of us to speak for the children and to speak for those children we have lost because of SUDEP (SUDDEN DEATH DUE TO EPILEPSY) Our Warrior ANGELS deserve that much our families deserve even more.
