Join the Hinsdale Multicultural Arts & Education Association (HMAE) and Hinsdale Adventist Academy (HAA) for a community celebration of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month beginning at 1:00 p.m. Guests can enjoy Filipino food, Chinese-style fortune cookies, a Japanese-style photo backdrop, traditional Chinese games, an LED Tetris game created by Hinsdale Central High School students, as well as arts and crafts, calligraphy, and a tea ceremony. A talent show begins at 1:30 p.m. and will feature performers of different backgrounds and generations, including Tinikling, a traditional Filipino bamboo dance, along with national award-winning martial arts and Tai Chi performances.
