Car Stolen From Garage In Hinsdale: Police
Crime called an "unsophisticated theft" involving an unlocked car with a key fob inside, according to a report.

HINSDALE, IL – A car was stolen early Sunday morning from a residential garage in Hinsdale, police said.
It happened about 2 a.m. in the 5800 block of Washington Street. Someone entered the garage and removed a 2020 Volvo XC90, police said.
Later in the morning, Hinsdale officers chased a car associated with the theft, according to a police news release.

In the Chicago suburbs, car thefts have been increasing lately.
"These are unsophisticated thefts in which the offenders are pulling on door handles looking for unlocked vehicles where the owner has left the FOB inside the car," the police said in a statement. "Please lock your cars, close your garages and leave your key FOB inside the home."
