Just because the modern brass quintet didn’t come to prominence until the middle of the twentieth century doesn't mean other instrumentalists should have all the fun! The Chicago Philharmonic Chamber Players bring this ensemble's unique warmth and power to arrangements of pieces from Susato’s Renaissance Dances and Bach’s chorale preludes to Piazzolla’s film music piece, Oblivion. Experience old works with a new twist, enjoy others originally written for brass, and hear what the buzz is all about.
