CHMS Students Pack Boxes of Goods for the Homeless

Clarendon Hills Middle School students created boxes of essentials for individuals who are struggling with homelessness.

The Clarendon Hills Middle School Peer Leadership Club worked with the school's Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) to create boxes of essentials for individuals who are struggling with homelessness. Students and their families donated new and gently used gloves, hats, socks, and scarves, which were packed along with staples such as toothpaste, water, and hearty snacks. Students also wrote notes of kindness and added them to the boxes. The packing was done in support of the organization, GiveABox.Org, which was founded by area resident Ashley Yong.
