Clarendon Hills Continues Road Improvement Project

Road improvement projects continue in Clarendon Hills.

CLARENDON HILLS, IL — Clarendon Hills continues its road improvement program, and will continue working on Woodstock this week before moving to North Richmond, Traube and Naperville. The village said storm sewer work is expected to be completed by May 19.

According to a release, the village will notify the impacted residents and it will generally involve moving cars out of driveways to allow the village to construct the sewers. Some residents are also getting their driveway culverts replaced. The impacted residents will be able to use their driveways at the end of each work day and

overnight. The actual road work will begin on Tuesday, May 30.

The village said staying clear of these streets unless you have a local need is strongly suggested. Use other north-south streets for accessing the Metra station/downtown and Ogden Avenue areas. For those residents along the impacted streets coordinating temporary parking with your neighbors across the street by using each other’s driveway during construction whenever possible is encouraged.

According to a release, parking restrictions will be lifted during construction to allow residents to park near their homes overnight. Typical construction work hours will be 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday through Friday.
