Clarendon Hills Holds Halloween House Decorating Contest

CLARENDON HILLS, IL — The Clarendon Hills Park District's fifth annual Halloween House Decorating Contest is back by popular demand once again this year. The park district said a team from the community center will go across town on Thursday, Oct. 25 to select three homes for top prizes.

All judging will be based on originality, creativity and the arrangement of seasonal designs. The only rule of the contest is that the homeowner and members of his or her immediate family must set up and install all of the spooky decorations, according to the park district.

To register, email valeriel@clarendonhillsparkdistrict.org on or before Wednesday, Oct. 24, and include your family's name and home address. All winners will be announced on the Clarendon Hills Park District's Facebook Page on Friday, Oct. 26.
