No Train Service In Clarendon Hills Until Further Notice
Commuters are told to use another station. Cable service is affected.

CLARENDON HILLS, IL – Metra trains will not be stopping in Clarendon Hills until further notice because of a continuing federal investigation of Wednesday's train crash, Metra announced Thursday morning.
Riders should use the Westmont or Hinsdale stations, Metra said.
The crash on Wednesday morning at the Prospect Avenue crossing resulted in one death, authorities said. The National Transportation Safety Board is conducting an investigation.

The safety equipment at the crossing is not functional, so the intersection is closed to pedestrians and cars, the village said in a news release early Wednesday evening.
Some residents and businesses are experiencing Comcast outages as a result of the incident, according to the release. These repairs cannot be addressed until the NTSB clears the site for technicians to make repairs, the village said.
