Coronavirus: 16 Cases in Hinsdale And Clarendon Hills
Willowbrook has the most cases of any town in DuPage County. That's because of an outbreak in a nursing home.
HINSDALE, IL — Clarendon Hills and the DuPage County portion of Hinsdale each have eight coronavirus cases reported as of Wednesday, according to the DuPage County Health Department's tracker. There have been no deaths.
The number of cases in Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills roughly coincides with their proportion of the county's population. A minority of Hinsdale is in Cook County. Cook County's numbers give a range of one to four cases in Hinsdale; the county says it only gives a range for such a small number to protect confidentiality.
Nearby Willowbrook, which is relatively small compared with other towns in the area, had the most cases in the county with 40. Six deaths have been reported in Willowbrook, according to the health department. All of the deaths have been at the Chateau nursing home, which had a coronavirus outbreak.
