Community Consolidated School District 181 is holding registration for new students and kindergartners at the school the child will be attending on February 19 and 20 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Families will receive a brief packet of paperwork to complete and should plan to pay fees at the time of registration; checks and cash are accepted. Families unsure of the school area in which they reside are encouraged to visit the District website to access a comprehensive boundary map.
Current District 181 students will come home with registration paperwork on February 14. Completed forms will be due with payment by February 28.
Director of Learning (CAI) Dawn Benaitis, who is overseeing registration this year, notes, “We have re-worked the registration process from beginning to end to ensure we have accurate data, to make the process simpler for parents, and to help create a clearer picture of future enrollment and staffing needs. We look forward to welcoming in new families from the community and confirming re-registration for our current students.”
