Devon Seafood Raises a Toast to a New Year With a Grand Three-Course Prix Fixe Menu

Devon Seafood Grill (17W400 22nd Street, Oakbrook Terrace) is counting down to the end of a fabulous year and toasting to 2014 with a three-course prix fixe New Year’s Eve menu.

Begin dinner with a choice of: Baby Greens, watercress, feta, toasted pine nuts, honey balsamic vinaigrette; Spinach and Watercress Salad, roasted beets, poached pears, candied walnuts, gorgonzola, walnut vinaigrette; Maine Lobster Bisque, cream, sherry, tomato, lobster; or Chef’s Selection of three Fresh Shucked Oysters.

For the main course indulge in a 6oz. Filet Oscar, jumbo lump crabmeat, foyot sauce, mashed Yukon gold potatoes and grilled asparagus, or a 6oz. Filet Mignon & Canadian ½ LB Lobster Tail, herb roasted potatoes, haricot vert with lemon shallot butter.

The grand finale is one of Devon’s delicious dessert options: Vanilla Bean Crème Brulee, raspberries, crisp sugar crust; Chocolate Lava Cake, raspberries, hazelnut ice cream; Apple Croustade, cinnamon ice cream, bourbon maple syrup; or Mixed Fresh Berries, crème anglaise, chocolate almond tuile.
