District 181 Publishes 2012-13 Annual Report

Community Consolidated School District 181 residents will soon receive a copy of the District’s Annual Report for the 2012-13 school year via bulk mail. The 16-page publication highlights pictures and news from the District’s nine schools and 4,000 students. The Annual Report also features information about key aspects of the District, including learning, finances, staff, community engagement, the Board of Education and partner organizations such as the District 181 Foundation and the Parent Teacher Organization / Association.

For the first time, a special edition with bonus content is being posted on the District website. The online version includes a story about Megan Fisher, a graduate of Madison School and Hinsdale Middle School who won Gold and Silver medals at the Paralympics in London 2012. Fisher visited Madison in December to share her story with students and visit with her former teachers. The online edition can be accessed at www.d181.org > About > Annual Report.

Donations from community sponsors were applied toward printing and mailing costs of the Annual Report, including Clarendon Hills Bank (200 West Burlington Ave., Clarendon Hills, 630-323-1240, www.hinsdalebank.com), Hinsdale Bank (25 East First St., Hinsdale, 630-323-4404, www.hinsdalebank.com), and Kramer Foods (16 Grant Square, Hinsdale, 630-323-0135, www.kramerfoods.com).
