District 86 Summer Improvements On Monday's Agenda

The administration is recommending the rejection of all bids and a narrowing of the package's scope at Monday night's board of education meeting at Hinsdale South.

The board of education Monday night will vote to accept or reject bids submitted for Summer 2011 interior and exterior renovation improvements to and high schools.

The district's administration is recommending that the bids be rejected and the bid package be narrowed in scope. If the board complies, the package will be re-bid and voted on at the May 16 meeting.

According to the administration, three companies submitted bids for the improvements but no bid came in below the district's budgeted amount of $1,083,725.
