Domestic Battery, DUI: Hinsdale Cops
A man is accused of domestic battery at a local gas station, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – In the last few days, Hinsdale police handled cases involving domestic battery, DUI, leaving the scene of a crash, theft and driving violations. Here is information from the latest Hinsdale police reports:
Domestic battery
- Roscoe C. Walker, 33, of Chicago, was arrested about 10:30 p.m. Sunday at Shell gas station, 210 E. Ogden Ave., on a charge of domestic battery. He made contact of "an insulting or provoking nature" with a family member. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
DUI

- Ethel J. Herold, 36, of Chicago, was arrested about 9:30 p.m. Aug. 3 at York Road and Ogden Avenue on charges of DUI, endangering the life of a child and improperly turning. A witness told police about an intoxicated driver, identified as Herold. Her 9-year-old was with her. She refused testing to determine her blood-alcohol content. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
Leaving scene of crash
- Michael A. Prusinski, 47, of Countryside, was arrested on charges of leaving the scene of an accident involving damage to an attended vehicle and failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident. The crash happened about 2:30 p.m. Aug. 3 in the 400 block of East 55th Street. Prusinski drove away before police arrived. Officers identified him with information provided by the victim. He was arrested six days later. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
Theft

- Suspects pumped $149 worth of gas and left without paying about 3:30 a.m. Sunday at the Shell gas station, 210 E. Ogden Ave. The suspects' cars were a black Audi and a black Hyundai. The case is pending.
Driving violations
- Crassandra T. Cooper, 37, of Hazel Crest, was cited shortly after noon Saturday at 55th Street and Interstate 294 on charges of driving with a revoked license and speeding. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
Identity theft
- A resident in the 500 block of North Grant Street told police Monday that someone opened up a bank account using the resident's identity. No loss was reported.
