Domestic Violence, Marijuana Possession: Western Springs Cops

WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — The Western Springs Police Department on Tuesday released its latest reports, which include domestic violence and marijuana possession charges.

• Shawn E. Olenee, 47, of Western Springs, was arrested shortly after 10 p.m. Jan 15 in the 4700 block of Fair Elms Avenue on a charge of domestic battery involving insulting or provoking contact with a family member.
• A 15-year-old boy of Brookfield was charged with marijuana possession about 2:30 p.m. Jan. 13 in the 4900 block of Gilbert Avenue.
• Eric I. Vazquez, 22, of Berwyn, was arrested about 11:30 p.m. Jan. 13 at Ogden Avenue and Interstate 294 on charges of possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle and speeding.
• Eggs were thrown at cars and other property overnight Jan. 15 at houses in the 4100 block of Western and the 7000 block of 45th Street.
