4) What percentage of your caseload is devoted to DUI or DWI cases?

5) Who in the office is actually going to handle my case?

6) How will they communicate with you and what is the expected response time?

7) Ask what challenges do they see in your case?

8) How familiar is the attorney with the prosecutor and judge involved in your case?

9) What does the attorney charge? Is it by hour or flat rate? What’s included in the rate and what is not? Will there be other legal expenses?

10) Have the attorney explain the legal process of a D.U.I. including: arraignment, filing of motions, motions hearing, disposition, counseling & education, trial and potential revocation?

An attorney with a good reputation may be able to negotiate better terms for you. Speak to multiple attorneys before coming to a final decision on which attorney is best to represent you.
