DUIs, Identity Theft: Hinsdale Cops

Two DUI suspects refused testing to determine their blood-alcohol content, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their latest blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the reports:

DUI

  • Ken D. Roberts, 33, of Westchester, was arrested about 12:30 a.m. Saturday in the 400 block of West Ogden Avenue on charges of DUI, speeding and failure to signal for changing lanes. He refused testing to determine his blood-alcohol content. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • Verlee Nathaniel-Falls, 40, of Gilberts, was arrested about 11 p.m. May 10 at 55th and Quincy streets on charges of DUI, speeding, improper lane use and failure to signal for changing lanes. She refused testing to determine her blood-alcohol content. She was released and given a date to appear in court.

  • A resident in the 800 block of The Pines told police Thursday that someone intercepted a check the resident mailed and altered the payee and the amount between April 27 and May 5. The resident reported two fraudulent charges and transfers on the same checking account. The case is pending.

Suspended license

  • Leon Boyd Jr., 27, of Calumet City, was arrested about 3 p.m. Saturday at Washington Street and Chicago Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license, driving an uninsured vehicle and driving with a suspended registration. He was released and given a date to appear in court.

  • A resident in the 10 block of South Stough Street told police Sunday that someone opened a credit card account using the resident's information. No dollar loss was reported.
  • A resident in the 200 block of Phillippa Street told police Friday that someone attempted to open a bank account using the victim's information in December. No dollar loss was reported.
