The Elm School Parent-Teacher Organization is hosting a Rummage Sale on Saturday, September 21 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the school, located at 15 W. 201 60th Street in Burr Ridge. The community is invited to attend the event and may donate items to be sold, which must be brought to the school in advance of the sale.
Those wishing to donate items for the sale can bring their goods to Elm School on Thursday, September 19 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:45 p.m. and from 3:15 - 8:00 p.m. and on Friday, September 20 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. and from 3:15 – 7:00 p.m. The following items cannot be accepted: stuffed animals, electronics and computers. All contributions must be new or gently used.
The Elm School Parent-Teacher Organization helps to fund educational programs such as assemblies and field trips as well as extra-curricular activities. They also provide the means to purchase technology, equipment, and services that are not covered by the school's budget.
