Fall Youth Basketball League at the Clarendon Hills Park District
Dribble on Down to Enjoy the Fun!
The Clarendon Hills Park District is offering an expanded Fall Youth Basketball League for boys and girls in grades 1-3 this fall. For the very first time, the Clarendon Hills Park District will be providing two levels of play to both educate and challenge younger athletes. This program will focus in on dribbling, passing, shooting, offense, defense, sportsmanship and fun! Teams will be balanced and arranged by age bracket, and the park district will be trying to keep children with players from their school whenever possible. There will be a 40 minute practice session on select Tuesday and Thursday evenings, with game play set for Saturday mornings. The first and second grade league will play games at 9 a.m. or 10 a.m. on Saturday mornings, while the second and third grade league will have games at either 11 a.m. or noon on Saturday mornings. All game play will take place between November 1-December 13, with games cancelled on Saturday, November 29. The game format will include two 18 minute halves, with the clock stopping the last minute of the first half and the final two minutes of the second half. The $70.00 resident fee ($88.00 non-resident) will include a t-shirt and a trophy. Advance registration at the Clarendon Hills Park District, 315 E. Chicago Avenue, is required.
