Few Virus Cases At Hinsdale Central And South
Central has seen big drops in recent weeks, report shows.

HINSDALE, IL – Both Hinsdale Central and South high schools saw drops in coronavirus cases last week, according to District 86. School ends this Thursday.
As of Friday, Central reported nine cases, or about one case for every 285 students. Less than a month ago, the school had 55 cases.
Hinsdale South, which is half Central's size, recorded six coronavirus cases as of Friday, or one case for every 275 students. It has reported such low numbers for months.

The last surge for both schools was in January.
As of Friday, nine employees in District 86 had tested positive for the coronavirus. That was the same as a week earlier.

In Elmhurst, York High School's number of students with the coronavirus was two as of Friday. More than 2,800 students are enrolled at York.
