White Sox Special Assistant Jim Thome, a five-time All Star player, will serve up frothy margaritas and other libations with a smile during Guest Bartender Night at Cine, 29 E. First Street in Hinsdale, on Wednesday, October 9 from 7 - 10PM to support the Elm School PTO.
Thome will be joined behind the bar by other school supporters including Jeana Considine, Erin Doppke, Dana Widrig, Steve Tavoso and Sarah Martinath for a lively event where bartender tips and 40% of all drink sales at the bar only will benefit Elm School.
Guest bartenders will be shaking things up with special Bulldog & Bowser margaritas. Light bites will be provided and admission is free. Raffle tickets will also be sold.
The event is billed as a Parent's Night Out - and parents are encouraged to tip their bartenders generously.
Cine is a member of the Hip Dining Group, a family of noted restaurants including Il Poggiolo and nabuki, all located in historic downtown Hinsdale.
