Graduation Held For Clarendon Hills Preschoolers

CLARENDON HILLS, — The preschool Class of 2017 at Clarendon Hills Park District's Active Learners Preschool held its commencement on May 17. The park district said the ceremony marked the official end of the preschool years for the graduates, who are all looking forward to kindergarten.

According to the park district, the preschoolers wore handmade mortar boards and their favorite dress clothes. The four and five-year-old students sang some of their memorable preschool songs before receiving diplomas from their teachers, Kathleen Forzley and Gretchen Wells Malitz.

Clarendon Hills Park District's Active Learners Preschool is located at 315 E. Chicago Avenue. The park district said it is currently accepting registration for the three and four-year-old classes which will run during the 2017-2018 school year.
