Halloween House Decorating Contest at the Clarendon Hills Park District

Boo-tiful Homes To be Judged on October 29!

Witches, goblins and ghosts, oh my! Scare up the outside of your home this Halloween and enter the Clarendon Hills Park District’s First Annual Halloween House Decorating Contest. The park district  is looking for some “spook-tacular” homes in town adorned with black cats, cauldrons and jack-o-lanterns this fall. A team of friendly ghosts from the Clarendon Hills Park District will be flying across town between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29 to select three houses with outstanding exterior decorations. All homes entered into the competition will be eligible for a raffle prize which will offer a $25.00 Clarendon Hills Park District program gift certificate. The only rule of the contest is that homeowners are responsible for the design and installation of all decorations. Judging will be based on creativity, originality and seasonal arrangements. There is no charge to enter this event. Clarendon Hills families interested in participating are asked to call the Community Center at 630-323-2626 no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 27. This is a program which will offer all treats and no tricks!
