Halloween Night Walks Hosted At Fullersburg Woods
Costumed guides will lead guests through the lantern-lit woods to six stage sets and more than 25 costumed performers.

OAK BROOK, IL —The popular "Halloween Night Walks" will return to Fullersburg Woods for the 31st year. According to the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County, during the 75-minute family-friendly walks, which take place at Fullersburg Woods on Oct. 27 and 28 from 6 to 9 p.m., costumed guides will lead guests through the lantern-lit woods to six stage sets and more than 25 costumed performers.
“These very popular and entertaining walks are a great way to explore the preserves at night and get into the Halloween spirit,” Forest Preserve District Commissioner Jeff Redick, District 2, said in a release.
The forest preserve said this year will feature classic “Halloween Night Walk” characters as well as some new ones. The walks are for ages 2 and up, but adults must accompany children under 18. Tickets go on sale Saturday, Oct. 7 for $12 each with a 10-ticket maximum per person and must be purchased at the Fullersburg Woods Nature Education Center with cash, check or credit card. “These walks sell out quickly, so buy your tickets early,” Forest Preserve District of DuPage County President Joe Cantore said in a release. “The whole family will have a ‘spook-tacular’ time on this fun Halloween walk!”
