Hinsdale Central Boosters Host College Planning Workshops

The Hinsdale Central Boosters are sponsoring two college planning workshops presented by Partners For Achievement. Parents and students from local high schools are encouraged to attend the 3 Steps to College Planning and Career Success - a 60-minute presentation designed to share the best practices of the college admissions, financial aid and career planning process. The workshop will be held in the Community Room (124) near the front door. You do NOT need to be a HC family to attend.

Covered in the seminar will be: building a great college list, improving your admissions odds at highly selective schools, writing a compelling college essay, finding schools that give the most merit aid, FAFSA overview, scholarship search strategies, creating a strong resume and landing internships. Parents with students from 9th grade through senior year will benefit from the workshop.
