Hinsdale Central Official Retiring

The official said it was an "unbelievable experience" working at the school.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale Central High School's athletic director is retiring in June after a 34-year career.

Dan Jones has been Central's athletic director for the last 11 years.

"This has been an unbelievable experience at Central," Jones said in an interview Wednesday. "The students, the parents, the staff have been great. I'm going to miss it a lot."

He said he still has a lot of work to do. He described retiring as "bittersweet."
